The (American Red Cross) 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning (BL) course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile, desktop, or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

Prerequisites
Students must provide an email, photo, screenshot, or printout of the certificate of completion (with QR code) received upon successful completion of the online portion to the instructor at the beginning of in-person class portion.

Duration
Training is a blend of online and in-person, instructor-led skills check session.
Allow ~3.5 hours to complete online portion and ~2.5 hours for classroom skills check session.

What Will Be Provided
Some basic first-aid supplies for the instructor-led skills check session.
Class Policies
- The online portion must be successfully completed (scoring 80%+) prior to the instructor-led skills check session. You must bring an email, photo, screenshot, or printout of your certificate for the on-line portion showing successful completion to the in-person class.
- Both online and classroom portions must be successfully completed to obtain certification.
- No photos or videos of any portion of class.
- Be on-time to class so as not to interrupt other students.
- No children allowed in class.
- If you are sick or think you are getting sick, stay home. We are happy to get you re-scheduled. If you come to class sick, you will be asked to leave without any refund.

~ 48 hours before start of class.
Certification
Red Cross courses offer Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate, which provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!
NOTE: Both online and classroom portions must be successfully completed to obtain certification.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 48 hours or more ahead of class time will result in a one-time re-schedule. No refunds will be offered. Cancellations made within 48 hours of class time will forfeit the entirety of the class cost paid, i.e. no refund. Students who fail the in-person, skills practice/classroom portion may be allowed to re-take the class but will not be offered any refund.
