You’ll examine factors like gun-free zones, victim responses, and shooter behavior, while also exploring arguments surrounding gun control. You will be led through recognizing warning signs, responding effectively in a crisis, and caring for the wounded. The importance of developing a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is emphasized, with specialized guidance for enhancing safety in houses of worship.

How Time Will Be Spent
This 4-hour course is structured to keep participants engaged while allowing time to absorb and reflect on the material. The session will be divided into two main parts, with a 15-minute break in the middle to ensure everyone stays focused and comfortable. Throughout the course, you’ll experience a mix of data review, group discussion, and scenario-based learning, with opportunities for questions and open conversation. The pace is steady and interactive, creating a focused yet welcoming learning environment.

A cancellation 48 hours or more before class time allows for a one-time reschedule, but no refund. No refunds for any cancellation within 48 hours of class time.
