Our experts will guide you toward shooting with greater accuracy and efficiency.

You will want to share any goals with your instructor so they can help you work towards achieving them. Not exactly sure of your goals yet? That’s OK. Our instructors will still help you work towards shooting more efficiently and accurately during your gun range training time.

• Train with a small group – Perfect if you’re comfortable learning alongside others who share your goal of improving your shooting skills.
• Take a private lesson – A one-on-one session with an OwnGuard Solutions instructor, customized to your personal objectives.

Once we have enough requests for a given class, we will do our best to get it scheduled. Please note, there are no guarantees any class will get scheduled or be scheduled in a particular time frame.

Prerequisites

At a minimum, an understanding of the universal gun safety rules.

Location

TBD though generally around the Lawrenceville or Buford, GA areas.

How Time Will Be Spent

A combination of listening to instruction and shooting while on a range.

What to Bring to the Range

• Open mind with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow all gun safety rules at all times.
• Notepad and pen or pencil.
• A pistol in a caliber the student can manage, either a personal firearm or a rental.
• Eye and hearing protection, which can usually be rented if students do not have their own.
• Cost of range time, based on the number of hours of training, ONLY in 1 hour increments and can vary depending on the range.
• Ammunition in the correct caliber for student’s firearm. Minimum of 50 rounds with the total amount dependent on the associated class or the personal goals for a private lesson. Correct ammo may or may not be available at a given range, so students should try to come with their own ammo unless they plan to rent a gun, as ranges usually require folks to purchase ammo from them any time they rent.

Training Policies

• You must follow all gun safety rules at all times.
• You must follow all range safety rules at all times. While generally similar, every range has their own.
• If a course requires range training time for completion or to earn a certificate, students must attend the entire range training session and complete all required components. If they do not complete the range training portion, no refund is provided.
• If taking a private or small group lesson and the student does not complete the training, no refund is provided.
• If a student violates any safety rule, the instructor reserves the right to stop the training and no refund will be provided to the student, based on the severity or frequency of the violation(s).
• If you are sick or think you are getting sick, stay home. We are happy to get you re-scheduled. If you come to the range sick, you will be asked to leave without any refund.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation 48 hours or more before class time allows for a one-time reschedule, but no refund. No refunds for any cancellation within 48 hours of class time.
